Oakridge Strong Updates

This summer we have been busy at event after event. From Triple Summing, MBO, & Gravel Grinder, to Concerts at the Park, Rods at the Ridge, Keg and Cask Festival and more, Oakridge Strong has been present at as many events in the Oakridge/Westfir area, as possible!

We are out spreading the work on the Save TV Butte Movement and updating the people on the Oakridge Strong status as a 501c3 Non Profit....you heard that right!!! Oakridge Strong is NOW its own 501(c)(3) Non-Profit, with the mission statement of "Supporting the people, environment, and local economy of Oakridge, Westfir, and their surrounding rural communities." The Save TV Butte Movement was the catalyst for this non profit and we wanted the Oakridge Strong mission to continue to help the people of the Oakridge & Westfir area, wherever we are able.

Whats next for Oakridge Strong???

We plan on continuing the STVB outreach and fight, such as in our upcoming STVB Fundraiser and End of Summer Bash! (See event screen for more details). And of course, continue on with the spreading the word on the movement anywhere we can.

This 501c3 status will also allow us to reach into other avenues, such as working with corporations to spread the word on the STVB movement, as well as look into grants to assist Oakridge/Westfir in a multitude of ways, and so much more!

We have already started work on updating the main Oakridge Strong Webpage to include as many Oakridge and Westfir businesses, local artists, and non profit organizations as possible, to be a free HUB for our local businesses to help advertise through so we can work to uplift our community wherever we can!
